Share Your Soles - Shoe Drive

This April Character Counts and the Ecology Club are partnering together for a CARING & GREEN cause. Recycle your clean, gently used shoes and help transform a life. Shoes help to prevent disease, help with transportation to work, school or to collect water.

Sneakers, sandals, flip-flops, boots, rain boots, crocs, cleats....we take them all! Shoes get sorted by climate at the Share your Soles warehouse in Historic Pullman. After sorting and cleaning the shoes will be shipped around the world. Donate today & help make a difference! Shoe drop containers are to the right of stage in Commons. http://shareyoursoles.org/about/

We are in need of a driver volunteer to transport the bags of shoes to the charity located in historic Pullman area of Chicago. Click Here for details.

Excess Funds Suggestions?

At this time of year, the PTA collects suggestions from the parent, teacher and school administration on how to spend our potential excess funds. Although we try and budget accordingly, there may be a chance our PTA fundraisers are more successful than we anticipate and we have extra money to spend. Since the PTA is a non profit organization we must close our fiscal year with a zero balance. Click Here to submit your suggestions through our online form. Please have your requests submitted by April 24th.

If available, please provide documentation of the exact amount your suggestion would cost and where we can purchase it.  An Excess Funds committee led by the PTA treasurer will evaluate the suggestions and vote on which ones to move forward with.  This will be reported and voted on at the last PTA meeting on May 11th.  Thank you for your support!
