We know it is exciting to have a new playground after not having had one last year; however, the school playground is for use by OMS students only during the school day for recess, PE class, and other classroom activities where teachers may take them outside. Between the hours of 8:50 am and 3:35 pm we ask families to utilize Greens Park for younger siblings and kindergarteners that would like to play before and after their school day. After 3:35 pm, students that wish to play on the school playground must be accompanied by an adult as the playground is also used by our CAP program. We have also reached out to Mr. Kaye at Thomas Middle School to remind his students that our playground is closed until our students dismiss. Middle schoolers that are picking up siblings have been asked to wait in the front of the school. Thank you for your help to keep our play area safe and secure.
