We are so excited for the 2016 OMS Field Day! We have a fun-filled day planned with exciting activities and can't wait to share the day with our students and parent volunteers!
Our 2016 OMS Field Day will be on Friday, June 3 (rain date Friday, June 6).
Due to our construction, field day events will be held on or near our play lot area, in the gym, and across the street at Thomas Middle School's field. In order for a student to participate in our Field Day events, each student must have a signed permission slip to walk to Thomas Middle School's field. All students will receive a paper copy to be returned by Monday, May 16. You can also download a copy here if needed. The permission slip also contains lunch information, our traditional Hot Dog lunch pre-order, and the times of our field day events.
We cannot plan this awesome day without the help of our lovely volunteers! We need 18 parent volunteers for the morning shift (grades 1st and 2nd) and 24 parent volunteers for the afternoon shift (grades 3rd-5th). Shifts are 9:15-11:30, 12:15-3:15 respectively, and we also need 3 volunteers for the lunch supervision shift from11:25-12:50. If you'd like to volunteer, please see the links below. This year you can choose your station - if you are new to Field Day and do not understand the stations indicated- just sign up! We will explain it to you when you get here.
