OMS students in grades 3 and 5 have been working hard to prepare for the Teachnology Fair that will take place at Thomas next week. These volunteers have been working with Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Seisser during their recess time to practice their presentations on how they are using technology at OMS. Some of the topics that they are working on are as follows: using eBooks for research, using movie making apps to demonstrate learning, creating stop motion videos, and turning everyday objects into interactive opportunities with the app, Aurasma. All district 25 families are invited to the fair next week to learn about technology and to support their classmates and teachers who are giving presentations. There will be opportunities to attend planned sessions in classrooms and to view table demonstrations in the Commons.
