Staff Appreciation Week: On Wednesday, May 6th please wear your OMS spirit wear or wear red to show the OMS staff how much you appreciate them! Also, if you want to write a special note to any staff member to show how grateful you are, please send them in during the week.
Back to School Ice Cream Social: Kick off the 2015/2016 school year at our Ice Cream Social. Use the form to pre-order by May 29th. Meet your teachers, drop off supplies and enjoy ice cream with friends! Click here for more information.
Commit to Clean Up: Next Tuesday, May 5th at 5:30 pm is Olive's COMMIT TO CLEAN UP event. Partnering with the AH Park District, OMS families signed up at the Earth Fair to clean up one of these parks: Olympic Park, North Park School, Greens Park, Hasbrook or Frontier Park. We have room for more helpers! Gloves & bags provided. Contact Judi Schuch. Congratulations to Chavon Miller! She won the garden basket in the drawing of those who committed to the clean up.
School Supply Kits Ordering - The PTA is once again offering school supply kits for purchase and the deadline for ordering is June 12th. Click here for more info on ordering & the school supply list for next year.

Council of PTA Scholarship Recipients: Please click here to look at the PTA 2015 scholarship recipients. These are high school seniors who have attended a SD25 school. There are 2 former OMS students who received scholarships this year! They will be recognized at a breakfast with their parents, and a special SD25 teacher on May 20th. Congrats to all!!
SD25 5th Grade Track Meet: The track meet will be held at Matthew Ives Memorial Track at South Middle School On Thursday, May 14 at 4:15 - 6:00pm. Click here for information and permission slips. Permission slips are due by May 8.
Spring Camp Fit - Camp Fit will be starting soon. Sign up early as SPACE IS LIMITED!
Camp Fit is a 5 week program for OMS students in grades 1-5. We meet on Tuesdays in May and June from 3:45-4:45 PM. We will meet on May 5, 12, 19, 26 and June 2. Space for this session is limited. In Camp Fit, students will participate in various activities: Running, Stretching and PE Games. Please use the following link to sign up.

All submissions must be filled out and sent by Thursday morning in order to appear in that week's Twig. The form also gives an option for an email blast and attaching a form.
