Mrs. Moore Recognized for 20 Years of Service!

At the School Board meeting last week, we had the honor of celebrating a milestone recognition for our Olive-Mary Stitt Social Worker, Mary Moore.  Mary has worked closely with the students of District #25 for 20 years of dedicated service.   She spent her first 13 years at Ivy Hill Elementary School and has spent the past seven years at Olive.  Prior to becoming a school social worker, Mary worked as a probation officer for seven years in the Cook County Juvenile Court System.  When Mary is not working with our students, she is spending time with her husband Kevin, and her two children Lauren and Alex.   2013 has been a great year of personal celebrations for Mary and her husband as they plan for the 2014 wedding of their daughter and celebrate the recent graduation of their son from the University of Illinois.  Mary has many fond memories of her 20 years in the district and looks forward to creating many more with the wonderful Olive staff and students!
