Snow Day by Ms. Davis

One set of footsteps in the snow,
Ms. Davis said to school she would go.

The doors were locked the lights were dim,
The teachers and students were sleeping in.

The weatherman said the snow would fall,
Who knew it would be this big of a squall!

Dr. Bein wanted to make sure everyone was safe,
So she canceled school just in case.

What to do on this snow-covered day,
The children will certainly head into the snow to play.

Snow angels, snowballs, and forts galore,
Or curling up with a good book like folklore.

Olive Us hope you stay warm and have fun,
On Monday we plan to see everyone!

Happy Snow Day!
