Morning Drop Off

Recently we have noticed an increase in the number children exiting vehicles along the curve.  This area is not a safe area for students to exit vehicles as indicated by the yellow paint and safety cones.  When students exit vehicles in this area it also increases traffic congestion.  We have also seen students exiting from the driver's side of the vehicle and adults getting out of cars to assist them.  Another concern is students that are standing between vehicles to get backpacks and/or band instruments out of the trunk.  We appreciate that it is a very busy and hectic time of day, however, the procedures we have in place have been carefully planned to ensure safety and efficiency for everyone. 

Please help us by:

Having your child exit the vehicle along the straight away only. 
Remain in your car and have your child exit from the passenger side only.
If children need to get something out of the trunk, please park your vehicle in our lot or at the church.
