Engineering Fun at OMS

Recently Mrs. Yarbrough's third-grade class worked with Mrs. Jenkins and Mrs. Watanuki our Advanced Learning Facilitators on an engineering challenge.  Students were asked to work together to create a prototype of a device that could be used to retrieve a toy from a toy box.  Students planned, sketched, created, and offered feedback to one another to improve their project designs.  At the end of the challenge, student groups presented and explained their prototype to their peers.
