Shoot for Success Reading Incentive Program

Prospect High School and Educators Rising students would like to thank OMS students for their efforts in the Shoot for Success Reading Incentive Program this year.

Students were given the option to become a “Knight Reader” by reading a minimum of 200 mins (grades K-2) or a minimum of 400 mins (grades 3-5) throughout the course of winter break.
The reading goal set by Educators Rising members this year was for participants to read 10,000 minutes. The Knight Readers smashed this goal; 15,892 minutes were read by the 47 participants.
The 6 schools that participated this year were: Greenbrier, Olive-Mary Stitt, Ivy Hill, Westbrook, St. Raymond, and Longfellow.
The school with the most participation was Olive-Mary Stitt with 25 Knight Readers and read a total of  9,122 minutes.
The ALL STAR MVP  for the K-2 grade Division goes to:
1st Grader Kiera from Olive-Mary Stitt
for reading 940 minutes!
The ALL STAR MVP for the 3-5 grade Division goes to
4th Grader Emily from Olive-Mary Stitt
for reading 730 minutes!
